NOTE: Auschwitz I (Main Camp) has changed it's Individual Visitors procedures.
Due to extremely high volume of visitors during peak periods:

 (May 1 to October 31)   10:00am to 3:00pm
All individual visitors must take a guided tour (small fee)

If you wish to visit on your own (May through October),
you must enter BEFORE 10am or after 3pm
                                   (They open at 8am)

Auschwitz II-
Birkenau can still be visited without a guide during regular opening hours.

CHECK THEIR WEBSITE FOR CURRENT DETAILS OF GUIDES AND TIMES
AS THIS CAN CHANGE AT ANY TIME.
